LAKE BUYAN AND TAMBLINGAN

Lake Buyan and Lake Tamlingan is located close to other marvelous tourists destinations such us the Ulun Danu Temple, Gitgit Waterfall,( a 42 meters height waterfall ) and Lovina Beach. You can visit those places as well before heading to this place.Lake buyan is  twice as big as Lake Tamblingan (3,9 km versus 1,9 km). Lake Tamblinga , however, is 3 meters deeper than Lake buyan (90 meters and 87 meters respectively).

A magnificent view of Bali can be seen from upper area of Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan. As you stand and looking down you will see the shimmering lakes reflecting the sun light. As you gaze around, you will see many mandarin trees,hydranger,tomatoes farm, vegetables farm, strowberry farm, as well many trees. Birds singging in the air, and butterflies wandering beutiful flowers.

The area of the Lakes is an ideal plece for trekking, bird watching and camping. There is a small dilapidated “trekking imformation service” office close to the main street in the Munduk Village. They will be happy to give you imformation about where is best place for to start trekking or bird watching. They can provide you a local guide, if you need it.

There is parking area, if you drive your own car and there is a place where you can rent a boat to go fishing in the lake. There are also guest houses scattered around the villages nearby.
